On Early Music Review page 164 February 2015 Vivaldi Concerti a 4 e sonata a tre RV 86 Maria Giovanna Fiorentino recorder and flute , I Fiori Musicali Tactus 672255 672255_Cover672255_Inlay“This is an enjoyable collection of chamber Music none of them is particularly unknown, but all of them are neatly played on flute / recorder, violin, bassoon with continuo consisting of one plucker and a harpsichord. There 4 sonatas for flute, violin and bassoon , two where a recorder replaces flute, and trios for recorder with violin and bassoon. The playing is mostly neat ( some occasional uneveness through the more virtuosic passages) and the recorded sound is bright.I thoroughly enjoyed this.” B.C.
